Tobacco Basket - Corner Swag

Instructions

Prep Tobacco Basket

  • Attach pine swag to the corner of the tobacco basket.
  • Twist pine ties around basket to secure.
  • Fluff out the pine branches.

Add Mesh

  • Using 10” mesh, make a loop and attach to the corner of the pine swag.
  • Make poofs the same size all around the pine.

Attach Mesh Curls

  • Cut 4 pieces of 17” mesh to create ruffles, in 3 different colors.
  • Curl ends together and create your curl.
  • Twist curls into pine branches to secure.
  • Alternate all 3 colors around the inside of the pine swag.
  • Repeat the process around the outside of the swag.

Attach Sign

  • Staple 2 pipe cleaners to the back of your sign.
  • Weave pipe cleaners through tobacco basket and twist to secure.

Add Pumpkins

  • Weave floral wire through the bottom of the pumpkins.
  • Pull the floral wire through the basket, and twist to secure.

Make A Bow

  • Measure a long tail, and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Add another pattern ribbon on top and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Top the bow off with a thinner ribbon on top with 2 loops.
  • Twist a pipe cleaner around to secure.
  • Add a zip tie through the pipe cleaner.
  • Weave zip tie through the basket and twist around the back to secure.
  • Trim bow tails and curl.

Attach Florals & Greenery

  • Trim florals stems.
  • Add hot glue to the bottom of the stem.
  • Glue florals around the mesh and basket.
  • Repeat process with greenery stems.

Add Sprays & Waterfall Florals

  • Trim sprays into pieces.
  • Add hot glue to the bottom of the stem.
  • Weave stems into mesh and basket. Use pine ties if needed.
  • Repeat process with waterfall florals.
  • Trim pumpkins off pumpkin sprays.
  • Add hot glue to the bottom of your mini pumpkins.
  • Attach pumpkins around mesh.
