Whoa No Bow! Ribbon grapevine

Materials

  • 1 unit 20" oval grapevine
  • 1 pack zip ties
  • 1 roll 4" ribbon
  • 1 roll 2.5" ribbon
  • 1-2 bunches wispy long greenery
  • 1-2 bunches allium pom pom bush
  • 2 units large pink peonies and orange flowers
  • 2 units orange flowers
  • 1-2 bunches purple zinnia flowers
  • 1-2 bunches small orange filler flower
  • 1 bunch grass

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with a 20” oval grapevine.
  • Add zip ties to the top, bottom, left and right of your wreath, making sure they are all in line.
  • Take a 4” ribbon and layer it under a 2.5” ribbon, pinch them together to make a tail and add it into your top zip tie with your tail facing up to the right.
  • Take the bottom of your ribbon and make a big poof and secure it into the left hand side zip tie.
  • Make another poof and secure it into the bottom zip tie.
  • Cut your ribbon end with your tails facing down and to the right.
  • Take the same ribbons and add it into your top zip tie with the tails facing up and to the left.
  • Take the bottoms of the tails, make a poof and secure it into the right hand side zip tie.
  • Make another poof and secure it into the bottom zip tie. Cut your tails with the tails facing down and to the left.
  • Dovetail all your ends.

Add greenery and flowers.

  • Take some wispy long greenery and add them into your grapevine at the top with them facing in the same direction as your tails.
  • Repeat the same at the bottom.
  • Take some allium pom pom bush and add them into your wreath around the other greenery.
  • Take some large pink peonies and orange flowers and add them into your wreath at the top and bottom where your tails cross.
  • Using some purple zinnia flowers, add them into your wreath to the right and left hand side.
  • Add in a couple zinnia flowers to the greenery as well.
  • Take some small orange filler flower and add them into your grapevine around the other greenery.
  • Take a few pieces of grass and add them into the right and left hand side of your grapevine around the zinnia flowers.
